“The purpose of the Story County Juvenile Justice Committee is to discuss public safety, juvenile justice, mental health, addiction and substance use disorders that affect the children and youth in our community. 

The committee has a diverse mailing list of organizations and community members interested in Juvenile Justice.

We’ll moderate the session by providing each candidate an opportunity to open with their perspective and interest in supporting services for youth and specifically juvenile justice.

We will then ask several questions that will promote discussion regarding issues facing today’s youth and our juvenile justice system.”
