Precinct Chairs will be elected to fill vacancies on the Central Committee and Platform Planks will be submitted. All registered Democrats residing in Story County may participate and are eligible to run to represent their precinct if there is a vacancy.

A successful Presidential Caucus in 2020 depends on having enough trained volunteers to Chair them. There will be many changes to the rules. Please get involved and take a position to represent your precinct if there is a vacancy.

The current list of precinct representatives can be found at the link below. There are 2 representatives allowed per precinct and 2 alternates. If your precinct is not listed it means all of the positions are vacant. There will likely be more vacancies after the February meeting.

Immediately following the Caucus, the Organizational Meeting will be held during which the Constitutional Officers and Standing Committee Chairs will be elected by the members of the Central Committee. All registered Democrats residing in Story County are eligible to run for these positions. Nominations may be submitted to the Bylaws, Rules and Nominations Chair at jon.klein@ymail.com. Nominations may also be made from the floor.
